With around 1900 employees, KLM ICT belongs to one of the largest ICT employers in the Netherlands. KLM ICT supplies her internal customers within KLM and Air France customized ICT solutions to gain a competitive advantage in their business domain (logistic processes, reservations, financial systems, marketing).
The ICT Organization of KLM consists of CIO, IS Operations and IS Development. CIO determines the long term ICT strategy of KLM, IS Operations manages the ICT infrastructure and IS Development builds and maintains software.
Competence Center Web Development
Together with the other skill based Competence Centers (i.e. TPF, SAP), Competence Center Web Development forms Application Services, which is part of IS Development.
The Competence Center is lead by a Competence Center Manager and four Team Managers, who together form the Management Team. Each Team Manager leads a team of Application Developers who build and maintain a pre-defined cluster of web applications. The Team Managers are responsible for human resource management and the daily operation of the department.
